Having my friends here for a visit was so amazing. It was refreshing to my soul, encouraging to my spirit and a whole lot of fun!! We were able to meet with my national friends, take a road trip out country and even fly to two historical places within the country. We had a great time and the Father was present in great ways. It was so amazing to see HIM give them a heart for these people and this land. HE worked through them in incredible ways and I am so grateful! Below is a poem I wrote when they left and some fun photos! Enjoy!!
Friendship Collision
She stands at the airport awaiting the faces she has longed to see.
Her heart jumps a million miles high as they wave to her from the baggage claim.
She races towards them and is greeted with a hug from a most treasured friend.
She hugs her new friend whom she is blessed to meet.
She smiles without ceasing as she realizes they are really here.
Hugs and smiles encompass the next precious minutes.
As each moment comes an goes-
Lives, worlds, friendships, and cultures all collide into
HIS beautiful plans, marvelous patterns, and amazing new adventures
Though it has been many months time fades as a distant memory.
Sleep seems so inconvenient as hours of laughter and speech arise.
Days full of the Fathers blessings and unending laughter ensue.
As each moment comes and goes-
Lives, worlds, friendships, and cultures all collide into
HIS beautiful plans, marvelous patterns, and amazing new adventures
The three amigos they become
Days of travel and hours of fun
Incredible moments to watch the Father work
Beautiful hours sharing of HIS goodness both here and there.
And as my dearest friends from each continent meet
As each moment comes and goes-
Lives, worlds, friendships, and cultures all collide into
HIS beautiful plans, marvelous patterns, and amazing new adventures
They collide in HIS beautiful ways-
They collide to form new friendships-
They collide to spread HIS love-
They collide to experience HIS goodness in new ways-
They collide to build the most unforgettable experience.
She waves goodbye tears streaming down her face.
Thankfulness washes over her heart.
She is amazed at these incredible friends HE has blessed her with and
As they reach America and share of their time she knows that
